Summit 2017: Renewed Focus

NewsTeam

Each year, we are fortunate to be able to gather the Fully Managed Team for our annual Summit retreat. This year we traveled to Vancouver Island and were able to enjoy a bit of sunshine (and a lot of rain) on the beach in Parksville, BC.

Summit is an important weekend for our organization, providing the opportunity to take our team away from the office and ‘real’ life, to reflect together on the year we’ve had and renew our focus for the year ahead. The past year was one of incredible progress, which was evident in the fact that 2017 marked our largest Summit to-date. Whereas 2016 saw forty team members in attendance, this year our numbers almost doubled.

But as our team has grown, we have not lost sight of our Core Values. Summit provides an opportunity to recognize team members who best exemplify our values and bring them forward into their work every day. The winners are selected by their peers, making the honour even more meaningful as they truly reflect the best of Fully Managed.

This year’s winners are:

  • Rookie of the Year: Gary Li
  • Fanatical Service: Mackenzie Hebert
  • Passion for Innovation: Mitch Jenkins
  • Monomaniacal about Process: Daniel Deepwell
  • Absolute Accountability: Sam Hameed
  • Inspiring our People: Jeremy Richardson

Please join us in congratulating them for the incredible work that they do.

This year’s Summit also marked the 15th Anniversary of Fully Managed, and served as the internal launch of our new brand, website, and direction for the future.

While we continue to dedicate ourselves to Creating Peace of Mind for our clients around the world, we’re also beginning to shift our focus into supporting our clients through the digital transformation of their businesses, providing Future Forward IT Solutions for the modern workplace.

As we set to work on achieving our goals for the coming year and beyond, we’re grateful for the innovative team that we have and proud of how far we’ve come already.

We would also like to thank our friends at the Beach Club Resort in Parksville for being our home away from home for the weekend.
